Flaming red rhododendron forests, blossoming fruit orchards every spring, Polaroid sunsets, snowy winters, starry night skies, Mukteshwar has every bit from an artists palette. Rappel down cliffs against a setting sun or go for long hikes to the deep jungles, the warm village folks make you feel at home. Come here to detox over some fresh rhododendron juice and forget the world of plains.

With a view of the lakes through the pine forests, the camp at Sattaal provides a serene getaway for up to 50 guests. The accommodation is spread across tents and the camp has common washroom facilities. Be it sunbathing with your book from dawn to dusk or enjoying the afternoon chai- pakoda with the resident dogs, its the courtyard with the recliners where all the action is. The evenings too are spent here chatting around the fire over Old Monk and ghost stories with new found friends!

ACTIVITIES

RAPPEL DOWN A CLIFF INTO A FLAMING RED FOREST AS THE SUN SETS BEHIND SNOWY PEAKS.

Mukteshwar has some of best orchards of the region growing plums, peaches and apricots. You could go fruit picking and have a Himalayan meal with the villagers. Or encounter birds and temples on the long hikes through the ridges, meadows and rhododendron forests. The camp also has a small rhododendron juice making facility where you could brew yourself a few bottles of the red potion. Visit the nearby waterfall for a dip. And please rappel down Chauli ki Jaali only to climb it back as dusk sets in.
