By Air

Srinagar International Airport is well connected with major cities across India. goSTOPS Srinagar is around 10 km (30 mins) from the airport. You may take a direct cab which costs around INR 1000.

By Train

Jammu Tawi is the nearest major railway station near Srinagar. From Jammu Tawi, you can take a cab/bus to reach goSTOPS Srinagar.

Udhampur is another railway station near Srinagar. From here, there are two options available:

1.You may take a direct cab from Udhampur railway station which is around 148 kms or 5 hours (depending on the road condition) away from goSTOPS Srinagar. 

2.You may take a bus or a cab to reach Banihal railway station which is 60 kms (2 hours) from Udhampur, and board a toy train (INR 40 per head) to reach Srinagar (the last toy train departs at 4:00pm). From Srinagar railway station, you may take a cab (INR 600-700) to reach goSTOPS Srinagar. 

 

By Taxi

From Srinagar railway staion- A cab usually costs INR 600-700.

From Srinagar International airport- A cab costs INR 1000-1200 for the 10 km journey.

From Srinagar (TRC) bus stand- goSTOPS Srinagar is 3 km away and a cab usually costs INR 100-150.

By Bus

There are no direct buses from any city to Srinagar. However, regular buses ply to and fro Jammu (245 km from Srinagar) from major cities including Delhi, Chandigarh and Amritsar.

Delhi: A bus usually takes 12-14 hours for the 586 km journey.

Chandigarh: A bus from here takes around 8-10 hours to cover the 363 km stretch.

Amritsar: Amritsar is 211 km from here and a bus takes 5-6 hours.

The buses take you to 1 deboarding point, Kunjwani Bypass Jammu, from there you can go to Jammu Bus Stand, which is 6 km away, then take a State Transport Bus to Srinagar. The bus takes a minimum of seven hours to cover the distance between Jammu and Srinagar. 

From Srinagar (TRC) Bus Stand you can take a cab/auto to reach goSTOPS Srinagar, which is 3 km from TRC and costs you around INR 100-150
